Name: AAC - Archives Center

Brief: The Archives Center is knowledge repository located between Neo-C and the Lakeshore.

Detailed: The Archives Center is a large hundred-story building, erected to hold the vast records of times past. They are known to keep financial records of most cities, blueprints of various production weapons (available only to those who pass stringent security requirements), general but limited records of current cities (as most cities maintain their own records buildings, and prefer not to release such valuable data), and it houses the most complete known historical record of the area. Sadly much of the history is locked within aged and crumbling books, awaiting restoration and archival.

The AAC also holds histories for many of the area families, as well as old newspaper files for years past. Within it's massive walls it holds a VERY large archive of significant people of the past. The public is always welcome within the AAC, with the exception of the below-ground levels where the books awaiting archival are stored. There are numerous other staff rooms below ground level, some of them extending to sublayer two. Rumors persist of still deeper tunnels, though there is no evidence to support it.

The Archives Center was started many years ago, before many of the cities of today were established.
