Detailed:
The Lakeshore is megalopolis comprised of the metropolises of Cleveland and Toledo. Toledo agreed to an annexation by Cleveland in order to provide the two growing cities some additional room. Due to the fact that the city is on a lake shore its economy is one of the best in the area, comparable even to Neo-C. The Lakeshore is composed of many different suburbs and small communities in its area, the most prominent being Garfield Heights. This small little community could be considered a city in itself, but has remained part of The Lakeshore primarily as a function of tradition, though a small party occasionally tries to secede.
The Lakeshore’s populace consists of many races, encompassing the spectrum in its entirety. The basic culture in the Lakeshore is noticeably different in each part of the city, thus it has gained fame for having a cornucopia of different foods and lifestyles. Because of these noticeable differences between cultures there have been wars between the people and at times the government has had to step in to prevent catastrophes from happening.
Before the Lakeshore was even fully established scientists in the area were trying to find ways of creating 'island cities' or cities on man-made islands because of the growing population. They were also trying to find ways to prevent this overcrowding by getting a zero-growth condition in regards to population, but all attempts to construct these island cities or achieve zero-growth conditions have been fruitless. When the underground group The Enclave left the area due to prejudice against it's biological advancements, the progress toward either of these two things has dropped to almost nothing. The local government is trying to enlist the help of The Enclave, but all attempts at communication have as yet went unanswered.
